I think about a blog for a while now. Long-term followers of my shenanigans may remember the time I already had one – let’s just never talk about it again. But why not try the same thing again which so terribly failed?

I did not actually plan to create another blog, but I needed a new way of publishing longer (more than Twitter) texts. My private life is by no means interesting enough to write about, I just wanted a solution to capture my thoughts about games we play on stream or maybe explain some of my tech. Or maybe how I realize certain ideas I have for the stream (e.g. the ets-extensions I currently make).

When I finally accepted the fact that a collection of texts about one’s thoughts is in fact a blog, I didn’t hesitate to set up a wordpress instance and configure it to my needs. The (intermediate) result is this. Intermediate because it isn’t quite finished. Some minor changes may occur, but the groundwork is done. Some things, like the ETS driver’s log, are yet to be finished, but that’s not too easy and will take another hour or two to finish.

I just think this blog might be a valuable addition to this whole party, time will tell. For starters I want to add more content and see how it works out.

As you can see there is no option to comment directly on this post – I just haven’t got the time or the motivation to have another place to moderate and secure against malicious persons or intents or bear the risk. My entries will however be posted on social media where you can comment to your delight.

So, what’s left to say? I would be happy if this turns out to be of some sort of value to you. Please, let me know what you think about this project or maybe blogs in general?
