We’ve seen and played with some interesting concepts in VR, but there’s always something new. In this case: Sam&Max – This Time It’s Virtual. Porting point and click adventures to VR seemed like a strange concept to me, so I was interested. You can read how I liked it here.

Indiana Nino and the Eye of the Temple
A new day, a new VR game – and another one I discovered on TikTok. At first glance, “The Eye of the Temple” looked like a bootleg-version of Indiana Jones. I love Indiana Jones so I had to try it. You can read how I liked it here.
Continue readingOuter Wilds
In today’s article we will cover the Outer Wilds game. It was suggested to me because at first glance it looked like “Subnautica” – I can tell right away, so it’s not. But it got me endlessly excited. You can read why here (no spoilers, but pictures included).

In today’s post we talk about one of the games that I finally gave up: Watch_Dogs 2. After not really being convinced by Watch_Dogs at the time, this part was recommended to me again. You can read here whether he has eliminated the weaknesses of the first part.

Izzy and I were a bit disappointed that The Devil In Me didn’t come out in time for Halloween – luckily we had an alternative and we only had to wait two weeks for the game before we could finally play it in co-op. The year before we had had a lot of fun with “House of Ashes”. You can read here whether the additional waiting time was worth it.

A point&click adventure like a roller coaster ride: In my opinion, Runaway does something right, but also a lot wrong. We recently played the trilogy and are now ready for a conclusion. Let’s see how I liked it.

We had to wait another year after release for the game to come out of the Epic Exclusive contract – now we could finally play it. After I was particularly impressed by the gameplay of the two predecessors, that’s a safe bet – isn’t it?
Continue readingLet’s dance into elysium
Today we’re going to talk about a game that could probably fill an entire blog on its own: Disco Elysium. Submitted as a suggestion by one of my viewers, I knew next to nothing about it before we started. I went in expecting to experience an interesting story from an isometric perspective. You can read here whether my expectations were met.
Continue readingA way out (of desperation)
After eternal problems, we can finally play games from the game pass again – and the first one we chose had it all. Road 96 is a very interesting game with lots of good ideas – you can read here how I got on with them.
Continue readingLittle Remy, big adventure
Licensed games don’t do well for me. It can be good, but in the past, especially with Disney, I’ve often had the feeling that the name of the game is more important than the quality. From intentionally heavy levels like in The Lion King, which were just meant to keep sales going, to games like Peter Pan, which were just plain weak all around, it’s been there. Today we’re talking about the first game that really broke this trend for me: Ratatouille for the PS2.
