Today we’re talking about a game that really excited me. In “The Turing Test” we don’t just want to solve a big mysterie, we have to solve lots of puzzles to do so – sounds confusing, but it also is. You can read about it in this article.

Sailor’s yarn with a twist
Today we’re talking about the sequel to a game that I really liked: “Another Fisherman’s Tale” is the sequel to “A Fisherman’s Tale”, and it came as a complete surprise to me. The first part wasn’t too long at around two hours, but still very entertaining. Can the second part also convince me?
Continue readingLow tide, high climb
Today’s game comes from a genre where you can find the most interesting topics – indie games. And today’s topic is one that plays a minor role in many other games: “Jusant” is mainly about climbing. Further and further up the same mountain, but much more relaxed than in “Celeste” for example – does such a concept work?
Continue readingHigh-Quality Zombie Survival
As you may have noticed, I have some problems with zombie games and the associated survival genre. High-profile failures like “The Walking Dead” didn’t give me much courage to look for anything promising in this area. Nevertheless, I was convinced to give “The Last of Us” a chance – you can read here whether it was worth it.
Continue readingThe Universe in a Cocoon
Today we’re talking about one of those games that you play through in an afternoon: “Cocoon.” Advertising “world-leaping” puzzles and the unraveling of a “cosmic secret”, this game sounds very promising. The screenshots and videos also look interesting – but is it actually fun? Contains spoilers!
Continue readingVery carefully – Nino and the “Cozy Games”
Today it’s not just about a game, but about a whole genre – so-called “cozy games”, i.e. feel-good games. We still had time after “Superliminal” and played a short but interesting representative of this genre. In “Assemble with Care” we fix things and discover how to create relaxation while preventing boredom.
Continue readingA Matter of Perspective
We recently played multiple games that focused on perspectives – not those of a professional career, but those that sometimes play tricks with your own eyes. We started with “Superliminal” – a game in which you have to solve various puzzles using only basic physical principles and changing your perspective. Let’s talk about how I liked it.
Continue readingPlanet of Nino or: the perfect blend
Today we’re talking about a game that really surprised me in a positive way: “Planet of Lana”. It’s a puzzle platformer, which is the same genre as “Inside” and “Limbo” – so my expectations were low. However, I quite liked the style and since it was available on Gamepass, the risk was low – so I gave it a chance.
Continue readingI like trains
It’s hard to pick out games that I enjoy and are well streamable from the mass of games available, so I often rely on recommendations. I get these from you, via short videos on Instagram or TikTok, or sometimes from other streamers. One game that seems to have suddenly experienced a brief hype is “Choo Choo Charles” – a horror game about escaping a monster train. It looked very interesting, so we played it; you can read here whether or not it was worth it.
Continue readingWhere no Nino has gone before
Today we’re going to talk about a game I played a lot on my last vacation: “No Man’s Sky”. Space adventures always excite me, especially when combining action elements with exploration and the sense of solitude of space. When the game came out it was more of a disappointment – but what about now, seven years later?
