We’ve already played some platformer classics on the Playstation 2, but I didn’t even notice many of them at the time. That’s exactly what happened to me with “Sly Cooper” – a game loved by many that was suggested to me recently. We tried the first part of the trilogy; You can read how I liked it here.

A Matter of Perspective
We recently played multiple games that focused on perspectives – not those of a professional career, but those that sometimes play tricks with your own eyes. We started with “Superliminal” – a game in which you have to solve various puzzles using only basic physical principles and changing your perspective. Let’s talk about how I liked it.
Continue readingToo poor too die
Today’s game is a product of that strange transitional period in computer gaming, where point-and-click adventures were still popular, but 3D graphics were seen as a requirement – more by the developers than by the players in my experience though. “Grim Fandango” joins in with its very own story – let’s talk about how I liked the result here.
Continue readingThe worst Lego-Pirate you’ve ever seen
I’ve already mentioned it in the article about “Lego Star Wars“, but I can only repeat it: I just like the older Lego action-adventure games from Traveller’s Tales. Actually, I had already said everything in that article, but when we recently played “Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game”, I noticed a few differences to Star Wars – here you can read what they are and how I liked them.
Continue readingPlanet of Nino or: the perfect blend
Today we’re talking about a game that really surprised me in a positive way: “Planet of Lana”. It’s a puzzle platformer, which is the same genre as “Inside” and “Limbo” – so my expectations were low. However, I quite liked the style and since it was available on Gamepass, the risk was low – so I gave it a chance.

Games with a Disney license are always quite easy to evaluate, because in my experience they only come in two forms: either a grandiose adventure or a quick and cheap license recycling. Today’s game definitely belongs in the first category, mainly because of some interesting features. Let’s discuss them here.
Continue readingLike the Simpsons, just better
As most of you probably already know, I’m a huge fan of the tv show “Family Guy”. I don’t know why, but I just love the mixture of very dull and very profound humor – more than the competition from, for example, “The Simpsons”. This article is not supposed to be about the show, but about the video game of the same name – does it get me hooked just like the show?
Continue readingI was immune to this fever
Today we’re going to talk about a game I was very curious about: “Transport Fever 2”. It is a simulation game similar to “SimCity” or “Cities: Skylines”, but the focus here is not on the cities themselves, but on the (transportation) infrastructure. It promised good fun – until I played it.
Continue readingI like trains
It’s hard to pick out games that I enjoy and are well streamable from the mass of games available, so I often rely on recommendations. I get these from you, via short videos on Instagram or TikTok, or sometimes from other streamers. One game that seems to have suddenly experienced a brief hype is “Choo Choo Charles” – a horror game about escaping a monster train. It looked very interesting, so we played it; you can read here whether or not it was worth it.
Continue readingWhere no Nino has gone before
Today we’re going to talk about a game I played a lot on my last vacation: “No Man’s Sky”. Space adventures always excite me, especially when combining action elements with exploration and the sense of solitude of space. When the game came out it was more of a disappointment – but what about now, seven years later?
